Hello! My name is Sandro Pereira and I’m a twenty-three year-old graphic designer, painter and illustrator from Porto, Portugal.
I’m a pretty regular guy: when I’m not doodling on the sketchbook or messing around in my computer, I’m listening to some cool music, enjoying some fresh air or probably just sleeping.
My first contact with the wonders of artistic expression happened at a very young age, but even then I knew I had stumbled upon something huge: what else would have helped me bring the cyborg-robotic-dinosaurs that inhabited my imagination to life?
I’ve devoted my life to art and design ever since, dedicating pretty much all of my free time to them. Even though I’m still studying (and have learnt a great deal of stuff from my high school art diploma and my brief stay at the local University of Fine Arts), most of what I know has been self-taught; either from experimenting myself or from learning about it online.
As you can probably tell if you have dropped by the gallery, I love experimenting with different themes, styles and disciplines, and I believe a good artist doesn’t have to chain oneself to a particular way of doing things.
The main reason I’m part of the art world is to have fun (apart from bringing my cybord-robot-dinosaurs to life, of course), and so far so good!
